The Harmónia wellness & spa centre is a unique complex of 50 steam, water and massage baths, treatments and saunas. It can activate all human senses, regenerate and relax the whole body. Bešeňová offers a special holistic approach, which is represented by water (hydrotherapy), aromas (aromatherapy), music (music therapy) and warmth – all this boosts the harmony of body, mind and spirit.

The sauna world is located inside the indoor relaxation section called Atrium. Among other tickets, the park offers single wellness & spa tickets without using the water park.

Staying in a sauna, water, steam and massage baths is like the fountain of youth. The aim is to alternate hot and cold sessions and cool down the body in cold water. Saunas prevent diseases and boost immunity. Regular sauna relaxation helps prevent mainly viral breathing system infections, relaxes body and mind, relieves stress and recharges one´s batteries.



SAUNA TEMPLE

The most modern dry sauna in Slovakia. This large-capacity sauna offers comfort for more people. It is used mainly for sauna rituals with light and music shows. Enjoy unforgettable sauna pleasure!

SUNRISE sauna

Salt inhalation means health. It has beneficial effects especially on the skin. It provides natural peeling and total blood flow. Inhalation of salt vapors is suitable for allergies, colds and all respiratory diseases, it is also suitable for detoxification of the body. Relax and let salt vapors and pleasant relaxing music to your senses.

  • Humidity:  100 %
  • Effects:  Salt therapy boosts blood circulation in the skin, helps treat airway diseases and detoxifies.

CHOPOK sauna

A dry sauna ideal for those who want to take care of their bodies. It helps regenerate and relax body and mind while enjoying a beautiful panoramic view of Mt. Chopok.

  • Temperature: 80 - 100 ° C
  • Humidity:  30 - 40 %
  • Effects: Relaxation in a dry sauna and cooling down the body after the sauna session stimulate the immunity, help relieve stress, cleanse the skin, improve the sleep quality, boost the blood circulation, reduce pain and relieve tired muscles, sinews and joints.

 


Menthol inhalation

Pleasant menthol aroma in a steam sauna with natural cleansing extracts helps boost immunity, relieves stress, firms the skin and enlarges vessels. Comfortable seats, moisture and warmth guarantee spoiling relaxation of body and mind.

  • Effects: Relaxation in this sauna world section unclogs the pores, which helps remove metabolites and toxic substances from the blood and fat cells through sweat glands.

Roman bath

Treat yourself to a heavenly feeling in the embrace of steam and hot air and restore your inner harmony like in old Roman times. A pleasant cinnamon aroma and music help relax in this steam sauna even better.

  • Effects: Boosts blood circulation of the body, unclogs the pores and helps remove harmful substances from the body.

Russian banya

Classic dry sauna relaxation, warming up of the body, cleansing. A dry sauna combined with a cold bath energises and relieves stress.

  • Temperature:  80-100 °C
  • Humidity: 30-40 %   
  • Effects: Relaxation in a dry sauna and a subsequent cold bath boost the immunity, help relieve tensions, cleanse the skin, improve the quality of sleep, boost the blood circulation, reduce pain and relieve tired muscles, sinews and joints.

Tepidarium

Ideal relaxation with relaxing background music. Let your thoughts flow and relax between treatments on comfortable beds at a fireplace or enjoy a view of the exterior.

  • Temperature:  30-35 °C
  • Humidity: 20 %
  • Effects: The relaxing atmosphere helps forget everyday troubles, relieves stress and helps prevent diseases.

Cave of Bešeňová

Water is the best way how to cool down your body after a sauna ritual. Pleasant water temperature, endless waterfalls and a limestone cave guarantee flawless pleasure.

  • Length of session:  1-5 min.
  • Temperature: 20-25 °C
  • Effects: A cold bath balances the body temperature , the power and energy of water energise the whole body and refresh your soul. The increased blood circulation of the skin stimulates the blood circulation of the whole body.

Outdoor whirlpools

Immersed in the whirlpool you can find comfort and it even contributes to your health. Fresh air, pure nature and beautiful views increase your enjoyment of relaxing in outdoor whirlpools.

  • Duration: 5 - 10 min.
  • Temperature: 34-36 °C
  • Benefits: Massage – relieves stress, relaxes, relieves muscle tension; warmth – speeds up the recovery process of tissue damage, improves blood circulation; pressure – releases the spine and joints.

Water path

The Kneipp foot bath is a balm for your tired feet. Walk around several times and let cold and warmth affect your body. Alternating hot and cold water your lower limbs become congested and your blood circulation is stimulated. Pool bottoms are made of pebbles massaging your feet.

  • Length of session: 3 circuits
  • Temperature: 15 °C / 35 °C
  • Effects: Blood circulation in lower limbs, stimulation of blood circulation and reflexive narrowing of cerebral vessels. 

Tepidárium

Enjoy your time in the relaxation area at a comfortable temperature during different phases and after finishing your sauna session. Tepidarium with relaxing music is designated to slightly overheat the entire body and offers sufficient time and space to elevate your thoughts and release your body.

  • Temperature: 30 °C
  • Effects: It brings mental stimulation and relieves stress.

Cooling pool

If you want to put out the fire in your body, take courage and immerse yourself in icy water. In addition to the strength passing through your body, you will also feel how blood flows in different parts of your body. For those not being courageous enough to sink in the ice pool, there is an ice bucket ready. 

  • Temperature: 9-12 °C
  • Effects: It strengthens the immune system, hardens the body, and contributes to blood circulation. 

Whirlpool

Discover the secrets of small bubbles that stroke every inch of your skin. The micromassage results in better blood circulation and overall muscle relaxation of the body. 

  • Length of session:  10 min.
  • Temperature: 32-35 °C
  • Effects: The whirlpool bath releases the entire musculoskeletal system. It has beneficial effects on muscle regeneration and blood circulation. It increases your metabolism, intestinal activity, oxygen absorption into the skin and alleviates sleep disorders.

Spring water

A stream is a place where you can replenish lost liquids and maintain a balance in your body. Here you can feel the power of pure water, its taste and healing effects on your body.

  • Effects: After hot procedures it replaces fluids in the body maintaining hydration level in the body.
